The lead-tin-antimony vacuum distillation furnace (Pb-Sn-Sb VDF) is the key pyro-metallurgy equipment to extract the tin from the lead-tin alloy.
The Pb-Sn-Sb VDF working method similar to the petroleum vacuum distillation unit, which separate gasoline, diesel oil and other materials from the crude oil.
Under the vacuum condition, the different metals’ boiling points inside Pb-Sn-Sb VDF are different. Through Pb-Sn-Sb VDF’s graphite tray, the lead and tin steams are flow to different positions, in which they are condensed and collected as lead and tin liquids.
The electricity is employed as the heat fuel for Pb-Sn-Sb VDF. During the vacuum distillation, there is no off-gas emission. Unlike most conventional pryo-metallurgy equipment, lead-tin-antimony vacuum distillation furnace (Pb-Sn-Sb VDF) is eco-friendly metallurgy equipment. Moreover, arsenic(As) collecting device is a standardized sub-assembly for Pb-Sn-Sb VDF. It can collect effectively As when As content ≤1%. (If As content is over 2%, it must be removed in advance.)
